What is Lancer Learning Community?

It’s the combination of the talents of Prince Edward County residents, Longwood faculty, staff and students, and Farmville merchants into short, inexpensive, fun, informative and social classes which benefit the individual and the economy of our town and county!

Where do these classes occur?

All over the area! Visit businesses, Longwood campus, golf courses in Chesterfield, restaurants, Moton Museum, Longwood B & B, Prince Edward County School facilities, the 1752 Estate, the Woodland…classes are all over the area!

What is the cost?

Classes range from $5.00-$125.00 and everything in between

Why should I attend these classes?

Learning is fun! Sharing hobbies and ideas is fun! A portion of the class fee goes back into Prince Edward County. Going to different venues with friends, neighbors and family helps us bond, learn, grow and stimulate the regional economy.

How do I sign up for a class?

Enroll here.

Can I teach a class?

ABSOLUTELY!  Just fill out the Teach a Session form.

Where does the money go for the classes?

Our objective is to become self-sustaining, then take excess funds and contribute to a community need.
