Participants will adapt the curriculum in thematic teaching to enhance core content. The class offers an exploration of ways to creatively teach and assess content objectives in multisensory ways for the individual learner with scattered skills, restricted interests, and who need scaffolding to support communication pathways. We will discuss and project how to map ASOLs for VAAPs in a scope and sequence over time for the teacher who continues in the VAAP journey with the learner for multiple years.
Audience: 4 week class helpful for special education teachers.
