Longwood’s Communication Sciences and Disorders Program invites you to the 3rd Annual Agee Lecture:

Lessons Learned in Supervision & Clinical Education

Why attend?
ASHA is now requiring all persons supervising students or mentoring clinical fellows to complete 2 hours of supervision training. This presentation will offer training with a focus on ten specific lessons. ASHA CEUs are anticipated.

Who are the guest speakers?
Longwood’s Communication Sciences and Disorders program is delighted to be bringing in outstanding clinical educators and former directors of the UNCG Speech and Hearing Center to share their wisdom regarding effective supervision.

What are the learning outcomes?

  • Explain the rationale for being trained before supervising
  • Compare and contrast the characteristics of master clinician with master supervisor
  • Define the three aspects of feedback

This free event will be held on Longwood University’s campus, in the Virginia Room in Maugans. A reception will follow the presentation.
