Autism Spectrum Disorders Professional Studies Certificate

In response to the growing concern about services for children with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) we designed and implemented a program to deepen the expertise in the field of ASD. Get the specialized skills you’ll need to work as an instructor for this diverse population. Learn about theory, a variety of evidence-based intervention methods and working with families.

Cost of Tuition: In-state rate is $275.00/Out-of-State rate is $350.00 per credit hour

Eligibility:

  • Baccalaureate degree from a regionally accredited institution
  • A minimum 2.75 cumulative GPA

Open to all with a degree in:

  • Special Education
  • Speech/language pathology
  • Occupational therapy
  • Physiotherapy
  • Psychology
  • Social work

The first summer Fluvanna 2018 hybrid course duration is: May 19th – July 14th.

This course will meet at Fluvanna County School Board Office, Conference Room, Palmyra, VA. Class will meet face-to-face on 5/19/18 and 6/16/18 from 9am-2pm. The remainder of the course will be delivered online.
