In this class, the teacher will learn how to adapt the 5 C’s — Critical Thinking, Creative Thinking, Communication, Collaboration, and Citizenship–into his/her professional teaching scenarios that can develop a positive learning culture in the classroom environment. We will primarily focus on developing creative and critical thinking skills to improve effectiveness in team and individual problem solving that requires creativity for optimal solutions–and how this affects our ability to communicate, collaborate, and develop good citizens in our communities.
